We are always keen to help embed the Art, creativity and Artists in the design of new and refurbishment of previously used environments. We have been particularly keen to facilitate the engagement of the Built Environment and Artists and will continue to do so. Our present areas of work in this field include:
• Engaging Artists in place making
• Commissioning arts in the community
• Contracting Artists to work on specific projects
• Developing a directory of Artists.
Beauty & Place - the value of beautiful and functioning places is not unobtainable. Working with the Arts Council, OPUN will support artists and designers as they can work alongside built environment professionals to design places that have function yet beauty. If you have a place in mind that would benefit from this approach, please get in touch so we can explore funding options with you.
Please contact sally@opun.org.uk to discuss any aspects of Arts engagement.
